The one trait that can have immediate impact on your business and personal life is building in your mind, the drive of continuous persistence. As we have all heard, the mind can accomplish extraordinary things. Close the loop by building persistence into your daily routine.

One skill to adapt in your mental state is to become persistent about not dwelling on the past mistakes and issues. Learning from these past experiences is important but learning how to be persistent to move the mind to the present and thus future dreams and goals

Consider being more persistent by eliminating all the outside noise. It’s estimated that in a typical day we can have up to 60,000 thoughts per day and many of these thoughts are the same ones from the day before. Think about that for a minute and examine your own thoughts right at this moment, how many of the same thoughts were from yesterday, the day before and the month before. This can involve, work, family, financials, vacations and the lengthy to do list. Be persistent and concentrate to move from this constant repeating of the same thoughts by pursuing new current ideas and your future dreams by writing them down.

“Enlightened thinkers know that their thoughts form their world and the quality of one’s life comers down to the richness of one’s thoughts.” Robin Sharma

We have heard time and time again, to declutter the mind. However, like any other habit in life, it takes significant persistence to make the change. As we roll into the New Year, consider the old tasks that you have not implemented this current year and take one or two and be persistent to change your thinking. It might be as simple as eliminating these big 3 news, social media, email notifications completely or just 20 minutes a day.

To ensure significant and startling results in your life, add persistency to your mindset. Build into your daily routine to the repitition of persistence. It sounds so easy but it’s quite difficult. The example of the new exercise or diet routine is one personal change that is so difficult to maintain over time. Persistence will result in happiness when you focus on overall health.

If you have your own business or looking to be a solo entrepreneur, persistence will be an absolute requirement to growth and change. If you happen to be starting your new solo gig and are coming from the world of an employee, the mind must change to continuous persistence to get your new company launched.

2. Create a definite plan in writing, expressed in continuous action.

3. Cultivate a positive mindset, which is closed tightly to all negative and discouraging influences, including negative suggestions of relatives, friends, and other critics

4. Foster a friendly alliance with one or more persons who will encourage you to follow through with both your plan and purpose.
